The area of Preveli is located about 35km south of Rethimno city and protected as natura since 2000

The Palm Beach of Preveli , known as Lake of Prevel iis located at the exit of Mega River, which carries the waters of the imposing Kourtaliotiko gorge.

Before we go to the beach , we make a short stop for photos of the magnificent springs , a unique nature because of its landscape .The combination of the huge vertical cliffs of the gorge , the river with its green water , the unique palm tree forest creates a magical atmosphere .It is the most romantic beach of Crete.

An almost 25 minutes walk, will give us the unforgettable opportunity to swim in the crystal clear waters of the Libyan sea , next to the  tropical river , enjoy the sun and stroll through the exotic palm tree forest.

It is possible to get to Preveli beach by boat. With Rethymno town.

Departure from the hotel at the designated time. Coffee break. Arrival at the beach of Damnoni. Boarding the boat and departing for the beach of Preveli. Free time on the beach 2 hours. Boarding the boat and return to the beach of Damnoni. Free time for swim and lunch approx 1 hour. Departure for Rethymno. A walk in the old city and the port. Departure and return to the hotel.
